decide to do the dragons back with two friends, got to brenin and it was pouring but within 10 mins sun popped out so we made haste and set off, despite the wet conditions we were shifting through the course.

great ride until about four miled from the end, one of the guys was just saying how good his bike was (gary fisher) and bang got a flat we stopped to repair and got going again only for his gear cable to snap which then broke the chain!!!

a cold and hasty repair and we were off again but with the long climbs ahead of us before the final descents, the repair gave up the ghost and so matt ran, and free rolled back to the start or end depends how you look at it

despite the breakdown and a 20mins stop for food we completed the course in just over 3hrs 15 mins, whcih considering the conditions wasn't bad
